Steam and Diesel Days

Steam days
Enjoy a day of unlimited train rides behind one of our heritage steam engines on one of our steam days at Isfield station. Due to some complications that can occur with steam locomotives the Lavender Line reserves the right to substitute diesel traction should steam traction become unavailable.
Trains depart from Platform 2 and run on a half hourly timetable from 11.00 till 4.30. Normal ticket prices apply on most steam days.

Diesel Days
Why not come and visit the Lavender Line on one of our quieter dates and enjoy unlimited train rides behind one of our heritage diesels. On some diesel days you may be able to travel in our unique Wickham railbus enabling you to enjoy a 360 degree view of the beautiful Sussex countryside.
