We will be open every Sunday throughout the year. 

We also open on  bank holidays and some additional special events days plus

some additional weekdays during the summer months.

New for 2008 we also have special half term opening dates.

On most Saturdays the railway is used for steam footplate training courses

and on these days we are unable to offer a  public train service although the site

will be open for visitors to watch the activities. 

The buffet, shop and some other facilities will normally also be open. 

On running days, the station is open from 11-00am to 5pm. 

Trains normally run about every 30 minutes throughout the day 

from 11.30am except for Santa trains and certain special event days.
