Free entry on Footplate days

On many Saturdays throughout the year ‘Clive Groome’ runs his famous

‘Footplate Days and Ways’ courses at the Lavender Line. Although there

is no public service on these days, the station site, buffet, gift shop

and model railway are all open to the public.

Our resident steam engine ‘Austin 1’ will be in steam for these dates so

why not enjoy a FREE afternoon out exploring the station site whilst

watching the steam train coming and going.
