Our line is now just a mile long and starts at Isfield station. It heads northwards towards Little Horsted where the train pauses before returning to Isfield. There is no station at Little Horsted and train rides normally last about 15 minutes per trip with trains leaving every half hour.

Cinders Buffet  is open throughout our opening times serving a wide range of hot and cold meals plus teas and snacks and our famous breakfasts on Sundays. The facility can also be hired for private events - click here for details.

The Gift Shop has a wide range of railway gifts and toys as well as second hand books and magazines.

Isfield Signal Box is open to our visitors and you can pull the levers and operate a full sized signal.

Our renewed model railway is now open to the public. Press the button to see the trains running. There are traditional trains for the adults and Thomas theme trains for our younger visitors. Operation of the trains is free but if you enjoy the model railway we hope you.will consider dropping a few coins into the donations box as you leave.

Our exhibition coach houses photos and displays of articles about the railway at Isfield throughout the history of the line.

Isfield Station our restored station provides the atmosphere of a British Railways Southern Region country station. New toilet facilities for disabled visitors are now almost complete.

The Visitor’s Picnic Area has tables and seating alongside the line where you can enjoy your own food and watch the trains coming and going.

A Viewing Area is provided overlooking the railway cutting and is an ideal spot from which to watch the railway activity or to take photos of passing trains.

The Family Area provides an enclosed environment where children can play and enjoy the swings and other play equipment whilst parents watch and supervise.

Free Parking is provided on site for our paying visitors but for some special events parking may be located elsewhere.
